15th Week: Nothing New

This week is the 15th week of school, and it’s my birthday week. Even though it feels like any other busy week with a mountain of schoolwork, I can’t help but feel a little excited. There’s not much time to plan a big celebration, but I hope to take a small break for myself, even if it’s just for a quick treat or a few minutes with a good book.

The deadlines are nonstop, and I’m barely keeping up with all the assignments. Still, I want to enjoy my birthday in some small way. Maybe next week, I’ll even get a little gift in the form of less homework!

We did practice for our yell for the upcoming intramurals.
This is us during the night practice.

Realization

I realize now how easily schoolwork can take over, making me forget to pause and enjoy small, happy moments. This birthday week showed me that taking even a little time for myself can make a big difference in how I feel.
