Six Weeks In: Embracing the Flow of School Life
Gloomy→ Glowy
Last Monday, September 2, 2024, classes were suspended due to heavy rain here in Masbate City. However, the next day, on September 3, 2024, Tuesday, classes resumed, and we were immediately bombarded with a slew of activities that had to be passed the following day. The sudden rush of tasks after the long weekend was overwhelming, and it really tested our time management skills.
feeling all the stress>.<
Every subjects seemed to have something urgent due( the thoughts and feeling of every subject has something going on, with the same due dates is EXHAUSTING), and balancing it all required careful planning and a lot of focus. Despite the pressure, it was a valuable lesson in prioritizing tasks and staying organized under stress.
As the week went on, I found myself juggling between schoolwork, extracurricular commitments, and trying to carve out some personal time. It wasn't just about completing the tasks but doing them well, which added another layer of pressure. Every night, my desk was piled with notebooks, handouts, and to-do lists that seemed to grow longer instead of shorter. The challenge wasn't just the workload but also maintaining the quality of my work.
Group projects, quizzes, and deadlines loomed over us, and it felt like we were constantly racing against the clock. My usual routines and study methods had to be adjusted on the fly, and I found myself relying on quick breaks and power naps to recharge. Despite the chaos, it was clear that everyone in class was in the same boat, which somehow made it more manageable. We were all just trying to get through it together, sharing tips on how to study faster or finish assignments more efficiently.
Reflection
This week made me wondered if this hardships I'm facing at the the moment will make me prepared in another challenges that I will be facing or it just made me exhausted to face another challenges?
But, nonetheless this week made me realize that no matter how gloomy and chaotic life gets, you just need to adapt and go with the flow, especially with the light of the people around you. The challenges and unexpected hurdles, like class suspensions and overwhelming workloads, can feel daunting, but having friends by your side makes it bearable. Their support, laughter, and encouragement reminded me that even in the midst of chaos, there's always something positive to hold onto. In the end, it wasn't just about surviving the workload but also appreciating the connections we have. My friends and I grew closer through this experience, and I realized how important it is to lean on others during tough times.
