9th Week : Quarterly Exams

This week has been nothing short of stressful, pressuring, and filled with overwhelming emotions since it's exam week. Everyone is buried in their books, trying to cram as much as possible, while also scrambling to finish the numerous pending projects. One of the biggest tasks has been our poem project in HUMSS 1, which added to the pressure.

Sleepless nights, eatless days, and silent cries – these became my constant companions as I pushed myself harder each day, all for the sake of meeting those looming deadlines. It wasn't until my body finally gave in and I got sick that I realized just how much I had been sacrificing. I had always believed that hard work and relentless effort were the only paths to success, but now I see that achieving your goals at the cost of your health is far from a true achievement.

In the end, it doesn’t matter how many tasks you’ve completed or how many goals you’ve reached if you’re left feeling drained, broken, or unwell. That’s when I truly understood that taking care of your mental and physical health isn’t just an option—it’s a necessity. I’ve learned that making time to rest, eat properly, and listen to my body isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s an essential step toward reaching my dreams in a way that’s sustainable and fulfilling. After all, success feels more like success when you’re healthy enough to enjoy it. So, from now on, I’m committed to finding a balance, making time for self-care, and treating my health as the foundation of every achievement I hope to reach.
